It's a sad day in Fullback-land. Part of my offseason "roster adjustment" is going to include the addition of a glossary to keep track of the neologisms that I coin from time to time here on FBF. But alas, there will be one such term that may not see inclusion save for historical reference: the "Suppies", or products of the Supplemental Draft.
Why?
They done killed 'er ma!
With the death of the reserve league and roster reductions, I suppose in retrospect this was an obvious move. Still, United pulled some gems out of the "Suppie" hat, and I, for one, will mourn its passing.
R.I.P., Supplemental Draft. We hardly knew ye (or when you were happening, or who got selected . . . ;-).
