Hmmm, seems Señor Goff posted about Euro 2008 not five minutes after my post on the same subject. Not only that, but his title uses the euro-linguistic color nicknames for three of the clubs in Group C--much as I did in my post--and also parallels the "lions and tigers and bears" motif of my last Tickle v. Tackle post title. In addition, my friendly neighborhood Sitemeter confirms a few visits from the DC metropolitan area this morning.
Conspiracy! I cry foul!
Well, not really. Chances are, soccer news this morning was slim pickings and I'd like to think that great minds do get a touch of the "think alike" bug now and then.
Still, it all seems a bit too coincidental . . . ;-P
