How Fire management can not a.) insist on a forward role for Rolfe, and b.) find the money to sign him ... it's simply beyond me.
I hope he stays healthy, scorches the living shit outta Denmark, and has a great last half to his career. And I hope Andrew Hauptman has to watch the highlight reel Clockwork Orange-style.
I've always loved Rolfe as a forward. He has that instinctive technique and unpredictability that is such a rare find in US players. The league, and its fans, are going to miss him.
